What are the risks of using removable and other portable storage devices?
Portable and removable storage devices are in use everywhere and are plug and play based so almost everyone with minimal computer skills is able to use them. The risks are that users can accidentally or intentionally use any kind of device that provides the option of saving or carrying data on it to steal, leak, loose, misplace or infect data. Without taking proactive control over device use, no network is safe against these threats.
