Why do I have to create a Certificate Authority (CA) in the Endpoint Protector Server setup?

The creation of the Certificate Authority (CA) is required for a secure connection between the Endpoint Protector Server and all Endpoint Protector Clients that connect to it. All data transferred, if it is settings, log files, tracing or shadowing information is 1024 bit encrypted between server and client.
